Heather Chapman graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition with first class honors. She works with clients with multifaceted problems predominantly involved in motor vehicle accidents. Her specific area of focus in nutrition is with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, chronic pain, digestive issues and weight loss/gain. Heather has held a Bachelor of Human Kinetics since 2010 and has worked as a Kinesiologist for 7 years. Heather has experience working as a rehabilitation support worker and Life Skills Coach with brain and spinal cord injuries for Function Ability as well as a kinesiologist for several physiotherapy clinics. She has also presented at The University of Toronto to a class of Occupational Therapists on how to combat fatigue and prevent burn out through holistic living.
She regularly presents educational talks at the Salvation Army on exercise, nutrition, healthy eating, personal development and mindset and is also a certified personal trainer. Heather has completed her training at OBIA & Brock University: Neuro rehabilitation Level 1; Assisting Recovery and Function in Everyday Life following Brain Injury; and Cognitive Interventions for adults with acquired brain injuries in 2016 as well as OBIA (Ontario Brain & Injury Association): Level one Brain Basics Course and Certification in 2015.
