Chanelle is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, graduating from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition with First Class Honours. Chanelle also holds a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Laurentian University and is a certified Schwinn indoor cycling instructor. She also owns and operates Nourished by Chanelle, her own nutrition practice in the city of Sudbury. Chanelle has a special interest in women’s health, particularly in the areas of hormonal health, prenatal care and reproductive health. While at the Institute of holistic nutrition, Chanelle also completed a 100-hour clinical placement alongside a Naturopathic Doctor specializing in women’s health. In working with clients and through research, she developed extensive knowledge in the areas of sustainable weight loss, PCOS, thyroid, allergies, as well as therapeutic diets such as the autoimmune protocol, low histamine, salicylate sensitivity, and oxalate sensitivity diets.
Chanelle is very passionate about digestive health, weight loss, skin health and detoxification and writes about these topics among many others on her health and wellness blog. In addition to being a holistic nutritionist, indoor cycling instructor and blogger. Chanelle has also worked as an outreach worker for immigrants and worked as an early childhood educator assistant. She has volunteered for numerous organizations.
