Nadia is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2015 with an Honors degree in Nutrition Sciences. She also holds a diploma in Medical Laboratory (20107) and Diploma in dietetic technician in Montreal (2000)
Nadia works as a dietitian with individual clients specializing in general healthy eating, weight management and mindful eating. She has worked in various settings such as homecare, private practice, hospitals (acute care and complex continuing care units) and community health. She has experience working alongside various health professionals such as physiotherapists, family physicians, psychotherapists, chiropractors etc. She also helps her clients manage and/or prevent chronic diseases such as heart diseases (cholesterol & high blood pressure), diabetes, food allergies/intolerances and digestive issues. She has experience working with enteral feeding, feeding schedule and supplements, reviewing laboratory results and using the bioelectric Impedance Analysis technology. She has provided dietitian services in both English and in French.
Her passion lies in teaching people how to enhance their health, energy and well-being through nutrition, behaviours and lifestyle strategies. Her attitude towards health and nutrition is finding individualized health goals for every client, ones that are realistic, easy to follow, sustainable and evidence-based. Her non-dieting, approach focuses on making small and gradual changes that can make a big impact and can lead to long term success.
