Niina Lobbestael
RD
Niina’s personal journey of healing has ignited a deep dedication to empowering others on their paths to wellness. During a particularly difficult time in her life, a friend encouraged her to join a 30-day yoga challenge. The transformation she felt in just a month was profound—she knew she had to learn more. This led her to dive into research, enroll in a teacher training program in California, and fully immerse herself in the practice. She was amazed at the impact yoga had on her body, mind, and spirit. Since then, Niina has continued her education, training in trauma-informed yoga, restorative yoga, hot yoga, and a multidisciplinary alignment-based practice. Her journey even took her to India, where she studied the roots of yoga and how its expression differs between the East and the West.
With a rich background in yoga, dance, and dietetics, Niina infuses her teachings with a unique blend of movement, mindfulness, and nourishment. She guides individuals to explore the intricate connection between body and spirit through physical postures, breathwork, and sensory awareness, creating a deeply immersive experience.
Niina’s mission is to cultivate a sense of balance, peace, and vitality in each student. She believes wellness is a holistic concept, encompassing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Whether in one-on-one sessions or group classes, Niina thoughtfully adapts her teachings to meet all levels of ability—including chair yoga—ensuring that every practitioner feels supported and safe.
Her classes provide a nurturing space where students can reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and leave feeling centered, calm, and empowered. Niina is also a registered dietitian.
