Christianne Laframboise is a Registered Nutritional Counselling Practitioner (RNCP), who graduated from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition with first class honours in 2012. That same year she also worked at Benourished, a juice cleanse company, whereby clients used raw pure juices to detoxify and boost energy levels. Her role was to provide marketing support and nutrition knowledge.
Christianne has also been working with Koru nutrition since December 2012. Her current areas of nutritional consulting experience include chronic pain management, brain injury, spinal injury, sports nutrition and related inflammation, food sensitivities, digestive issues, balancing blood sugars and weight loss. She has completed training in First Line Therapy, a lifestyle weight loss program from Metagenics in April 2013. She is certified for use of the BIA Impedimed body composition testing, has taken the Brain Basics training program in 2014. She is further trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory SOS approach to feeding (6 – 16 month), the Food Scientist Model-Feeding for School Aged children in 2015 and completed the Fat for Fuel Ketogenic Diet: Mitochondrial Metabolic Therapy course in 2017. Her experience of caring for a family member with a debilitating spinal cord injury and chronic pain for approximately 7 years has given her insight and understanding into working with people with chronic pain and spinal cord injuries from both a personal and professional perspective.
Prior to her nutrition certification, Christianne also completed a culinary diploma from George Brown College, 2000. She had the experience of working as a recipe tester for the cookbook: Anne Lindsay’s Light Kitchen 2002, published in association with the Canadian Diabetes Association. Christianne graduated from Trent University with a degree in French Literature & Political Science in 1993 and worked in corporate marketing for several years.
